We’ve got a biking extravaganza for you – ‘Himalayan Enigma: Trail of the Gods.’ It’s a race so crazy it’ll make your heart race faster than our riders down a mountain, and who knows, maybe even Lord Shiva is watching from his Himalayan hangout at Gauri Shankar!
Imagine you, on a bike, tackling hills that laugh in the face of gravity, conquering terrains that make even the bravest tires tremble. While you ride, the mountains stand by, nodding in approval. This race isn’t for the faint of heart; it’s a wild adventure. We recommend you have more than novice riding skills, but don’t worry if you’re not a pro – we’ve got a spot for those who are up for the challenge.

But here’s the twist – it’s simple (in theory), yet oh-so-crazy. We start 150 feet below a sky-high Kalinchowk Bhagwati temple at 12361 ft and finish by the calm Tamakoshi River at 2821 ft. You’ll navigate a course that’s like a rollercoaster in the forest, with rocky surprises and cliffhangers. And the best part? A dizzying 9,000+ feet drop. It’s like downhill biking, but on steroids. Your adrenaline will be doing the tango with the mountain air, leaving you breathless and craving more.

The ‘Trail of the Gods‘ derives its name from the paths traveled by the exiled Pandava Brothers during their 13-year exile in the ancient Hindu epic, the Mahabharata. Among them, Bhimsen was revered as a god, with the Dolakha Bhimsen Temple marking his divine presence along this legendary trail.

What is the date, time and location of the event?
16 November – 18 November 2024. Kalinchowk to Nagdaha, Dolakha.
How are race categories determined?
Elite – All riders male/female that has participated in any MTB downhill and enduro National & International Championships, EWS, or Mega avalance in the last 4 years.
Open – All riders male/female excluding the above criteria.
Junior- All riders under 18 years of age.
E-Bike – Any rider male/female with an e-bike.
Can participants change categories if needed?
No. Cannot be changed.
What is the race format?
- It’s a Marathon (Mass-start) Enduro race.
- Official timed run (Seeding run) will determine the order at starting line.
- Rider with fastest time from the starting point to the finishing point wins.
